Waltheof, Earl of Northumbria

Who was Waltheof?
Waltheof was an Anglo-Saxon nobleman from Northumbria. He was made earl of Northumbria 1065. He was pardoned by William after the 1069 rebellion of the north, keeping his earldom. He was executed after the Earls' Revolt in 1075.
